Time for some Nestin’

The Nest will be close for vacation MEMORIAL DAY, June 17-21, July 4-5, July 22-26

We offer a variety of yoga classes whether you are looking for a “little chill” after a stressful day or a strengthening vigorous class. The Nest Wellness Studio has a class to support your needs.

Not a pass holder? Purchase a punch pass and get a punch for every class you attend (passes may be used for any session). Plan to arrive 15 minutes before class to purchase your pass.

Monday 10:00 am – 11:15 am (All Levels)
Mindful Strengthening This class utilizes yoga, pilates, zen barre techniques, body bars, swiss exerballs, bands, and hand weights, anatomy/physiology and kineseology review to produce one fun, yet challenging experience. Complete with a 15 min relaxation (shivasana).

Monday 12:00 pm – 1:15 pm (All Levels)
Hatha Basics A strong yoga practice begins with a sturdy foundation.  This class can fine tune even an advanced practice to enhance flexibility and relaxation.  Emphasis is on alignment, mindful movement, breath work and listening to your body. There will be more standing balance poses in this class as compared to Thursday am’s Joyful Gentle Yoga.

Monday 5:15 pm – 6:15 pm (All Levels) 
Restore/Chill This class is designed to slow down and appreciate the moment. To be present in your body and begin to observe your thoughts and where they go.  We will practice some gentle poses, restorative poses, and learn to meditate.

Tuesday 10:00 am – 11:15 am (Level 1-2)
Slow Flow Vinyasa Flowing yoga vinyasa practice which is slowed down and savory. See vinyasa description above for Align & Flow.

Tuesday 5:15 pm – 6:30 pm (All Levels) BEINGS JUNE 4th
Calm & Restore This class is designed to slow down and appreciate the moment. To be present in your body and begin to observe your thoughts and where they go.  We will practice some gentle poses, restorative poses, and learn to meditate.

Tuesday 6:45 pm – 8:00 pm (Level 3) BEGINS JUNE 4th
Vinyasa Vinyasa is flow of movement with breath which helps the practitioner develop a greater sense of self awareness, balance and harmony with themselves. Vinyasa classes typically include smoothly flowing movements between poses guided by the force of inhales and exhales. Each class is unique but may include the many variations of sun salutations, as well as standing postures, inversions, back bends, twists, forward bends and deep relaxation. L 1-3* depending on past yoga experience and current fitness level. This is the most challenging class on the schedule.

Wednesday 8:30 am – 9:45 am (Level 1-2) BEGINS JUNE 5th
10 Weeks Strong Wednesdays and Fridays This class is designed for you to gain core strength utilizing yoga, pilates,  zen barre techniques, body bars, swiss exerballs,  bands, and hand weights, to produce one fun, yet challenging experience. Complete with a 15 min relaxation (shivasana). Classes are small enough and  tailored to the needs of the students depending on strength and flexibility.

Wednesday 10:00 am – 11:15 am (All Levels) BEGINS JUNE 5th

Wednesday 6:30 pm – 7:45 pm (All Levels)
Yoga 4 the Inflexible – couples welcome Basic yoga poses with the assistance of props, blocks, blankets and wall space so practitioners can find the comfort and ease in the pose.  Great class for beginners, Date night idea, and Dudes- this one’s for you!

Thursday 10:00 am – 11:15 am (All Levels) 
Joyful Gentle Yoga Alignment/strength/flexibility combine as we move to our best selves and the body we are in today.  This class is designed from those who are healing, have some limitations or previous injury, acute or chronic. There is limited standing work in this class.

Friday 8:30 am – 9:45 am (Level 1-2) BEGINS JUNE 7th
10 Weeks Strong Wednesdays and Fridays This class is designed for you to gain core strength utilizing yoga, pilates,  zen barre techniques, body bars, swiss exerballs,  bands, and hand weights, to produce one fun, yet challenging experience. Complete with a 15 min relaxation (shivasana). Classes are small enough and  tailored to the needs of the students depending on strength and flexibility.

Level Descriptions
All Levels: This class can be adaptive to all levels, great for beginners or those intermediate and advanced participants looking for a space to restore the body and mind.

Level 1: Perfect place for beginners and those looking to learn the basic poses. Must be able to comfortably transfer from sit to stand.

Level 1-2: Poses are held longer, more of a challenge, some beginners may start here if athletic or active lifestyle.

Level 2-3: Most advanced class offered. Expectation that participants have some experience with basic yoga poses, emphasis on refinement of the poses.
